Bringing Pets into Thailand:

Before considering bringing your pets into Thailand, beware that Rabies is prevalent in Thailand. Therefore, it is essential that you have your Pet/s vaccinated against Rabies at least 15 days prior to departure. If you are planning on bringing your Pet/s into Thailand for 6 months or more by air, an entry permit can be obtained at the airport.You may be required to pay fees for the application and import duties on your pet/s. Import duties will be exempted if your pet/s will be in Thailand for 6 months or less, however you will have to fill out a gurantee form and pay a deposit at the airport.You should contact the Royal Thai Embassy or consulate in your residing country for up to date information on quarantine regulations.
